Recommitting Today

  • For the past month, I have lost ZERO pounds, I keep going up and down the same 2 lbs, and Saturday night I had a full melt down. I said to my hubby, why do I have to try sooooooo hard to lose weight? I have been working out 1 hour per day for 6 days per week and eating between 1600 and 2000 cals per day. I am still quite heavy, so I should be losing weight, what's wrong with me?

    Well, yesterday I saw someone who was in school with me last year and she exclaimed, you've lost weight!!!! I felt so good, despite only losing 35 lbs in 1 year, I feel great. I am recommitting today and trying 1400 calories (I think this will take care of any miscalculations on my part) and workout 30-45 mins per day. Let's see how this goes.

  • I was in this same situation for the past few weeks so I decided to switch my calories day to day. You can also change up your workouts so your body doesn't get used to it. This helped me get out of that 257 one day 258 the next, I saw 256 this morning!
