Hi friends,

Vixsin - hugs to you. We missed you too! Sorry to hear about your injury - do you have access to a pool at all to do workouts in the water? Don't worry about those five pounds - it may be water weight that won't 'stick' so don't let it freak you out. Sounds like you've created a plan, just stick to it!

MissVick - a bad oyster! Food poisoning sucks - we've all been there. Yes, you can do this. Of course you are feeling unmotivated, you're sick. You'll get over the food poisoning and then press on with your plan.

Diana - congrats on your scale victory. Awesome! You deserve it, you've been working hard consistently and can be proud of the results!

Cardboard - congrats on the bike workout!

My Tuesday:

breakfast - oatmeal with almonds, cinnamon, a few dried cranberries, half of a frozen peach (fresh frozen from our tree), coffee with splash of skim milk.

lunch - turkey and ham sandwich at subway on 9 grain wheat bread with lots o' veggies. 300 calories for sandwich, 45 for the cheese, I'm guessing about 50 for a tiny dab of lite mayo. (You should have seen me talking to the guy behind the counter...I know how they usually are so heavy-handed with dressing, so I was like, "just a little, teensy-tiny bit. Yes! That's enough!") No chips, no cookie, water to drink. So probably around 400 calories for lunch. Nice to be able to eat 'fast food' and be able to make healthy choices.

snack - Pecan Larabar (dried fruit and nuts) 220 calories

dinner - (what I'm planning) red lentils cooked with onions, garlic, etc over a millet/quinoa combo, some leftover veggie salad (cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, some other stuff we had in the kitchen)

workout - planning to run tonight, 3-4 miles or so. Even though the days are still warm, it cools down nicely in the late afternoon and early evenings are perfect for getting an outdoor workout in! Plus I did housecleaning today so was active.

scale today: 202 which I am content with, since last night's dinner was saltier than I had expected. I plan to see a one this week!

Hello ladies,

MissVick - I hope you feel better soon. Once you're better, you'll get your motivation back. Hang in there.

Diana - Glad your allergic reaction is getting better and the scale went back down. You have done an awesome job.

Vix - I hope your calf feels better and you're able to workout soon. I'm sure you'll get rid of those 5 pounds soon. Just hang in there and take it 1 meal at a time.

Congrats to everyone else who have stayed on plan and reaching goals.

Hi, gals! I'm new, so I hope you'll forgive me just jumping in. I have a lot of weight to lose, but I'm so excited to be on the road to actually losing it and I look forward to making lots of new friends along the way.

For my exercise this morning, I did the 4 fast miles by LS.
Breakfast: Grapenuts and 1 % milk
Coffee
Snack: 5 animal crackers
Lunch: Salad with walnuts instead of croutons and nonfat salad dressing
Dinner: No idea! I should get on that.

Thanks for letting me sneak into your thread.

Hi abidabbi right back at cha' I love scampi, yummy Hope you get to go to the gym and do your walk. I miss living in the city sometimes. Use to walk almost every where. Now we can't walk any where

Hi Sarah Great job at the gym. You'll do fine in your spinning class, I'm sure

Diana congratulations on getting back to Onederland. I knew you'd get back there soon ... and You are a GREAT inspiration, motivator and more. Goodness knows you have helped me for sure. I thank you

Thanks Jer I stayed the same today, but no complaints. I'm happy to be out of the 170's

penguin hang in there. When I tried the intentional zig zag it didn't work so I stopped. Then I got the advice to increase my calories to 1600 and the scale started moving in the right direction. The 2lbs may just be water so hopefully a good whoosh is coming

MissVick, Sorry about the food poisoning YOU CAN DO THIS and we are here to help you

Vixsin, sorry about the injuries. Great job on staying positive and getting things in order

Hi blueridgegirl, I'm sure you'll see a one this week. Great job

Hi Everyone!

Today was a rough day. DH had to have an emergency root canal. He's been having pain for a while, but when he went for his cleaning there wasn't a cavity. Today he went to the dentist, but the x-ray still looked fine. She sent him to a specialist. Yep, he found the problem. That's why he's the specialist. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for DH. Poor guy.

I just remembered something. Do you remember my experiment from last month with my hair appointment? We always go to eat at my favorite Japanese restaurant. The day before I ate low calories, the day of I had a lighter/lower sodium lunch. Well tomorrow is my appointment. I totally forgot about that with DH's tooth situation. I always gain water weight from the sodium in the food from eating at that restaurant. Today I had lower calories. I am out of yogurt. That's what I had for lunch last month. I can have cottage cheese w/fruit tomorrow. If I can remember to bring it to work. I will try to remember the cottage cheese/fruit tomorrow. If I do I will see how the experiments goes for the 2nd round. If not I will probably be a little over 200 again.
