Hi everyone...
Thanks Diana for putting up little thingys that actually look like me at the gym (but I'm a bit less yellow ) !!!
Love - 160s!!!!! YEY!!!!! WOOOOP! Well done you x x x
My weekend went without major events, went to the gym on Sat and Sunday but less intense. Walked for an hour on SUnday though so happy about that. Weigh in this morning had me at 164 so at some point I shall change my profile (I get too nervous to do it until I have either been that weight for a couple of days or lost a bit more). I need to get back to weighing only on a Monday and not every day. I also had a slip up with being sick this weekend after a large meal that I panicked about. Quite ashamed but hoping it was a blip rather than gettin back into old ways... :/
Love to all xx

Good Morning Ladies,
Great job to all of you who have successfully made it through the weekend.
Welcome to all the new Chickies
Seems like forever since I've posted. I had company in town since Thursday so I've been extremely busy running around with them. I did very good with my eating and always stayed on track. I went to 2 cookouts and ate out the rest of the meals. The scale was down to 217 this morning so I've lost another 2 pounds. I'm looking forward to another great week.
Journal
B-Bagel thin w/Laughing Cow, skim latte,
S-fruit salad, almonds
L-Large salad w/Lite dressing, feta cheese, shrimp
D-green beans, shrimp
Exercise-Walked 4 miles (12.5/36 for Sept Challenge)

Happy Labor Day friends!
Thanks everyone for your congratulations! It's wonderful to be able to celebrate these victories - I hope that my successful race serves to inspire that we CAN do this and our bodies can change and do things that we never thought they could do.
Love2be - congrats!
GettinFit - congrats on your loss, too!
Abidabbi - I agree, go ahead and change your ticker, and this is the place to come when you feel a 'blip' coming on...we are here for you!
Nicole - way to go on passing on the brat and macaroni...remember you'll have other opportunities to have those foods. Sounds like you made good choices with the options that were there. Remember (like I was told just a few days ago on this thread) it's about your DH's birthday, and loving and celebrating him and his life, not about the food.
Diana - glad to know you are feeling better.
I don't think I'll get to post tomorrow, so I'll post today's eats:
breakfast: one homemade pancake from whole grain organic no sugar mix, 1 Tbsp natural peanut butter, and a bit of smart balance margarine. Tea to drink - no coffee at my SO's house. Horrors! But I made it through the morning without coffee.
lunch: at a Labor Day picnic potluck but am pleased with my choices. I had a few slices of pita with hummus, 1 slice of sourdough bread with salmon salad on top (this is something I am going to have to make - I'd never tried canned salmon before but really liked it), and a big serving of salad that someone had brought - spinach, dried cranberries, and a bit of goat cheese. Big slice of watermelon for dessert. I steered clear from the cookies, but luckily most of the food was pretty healthy so it wasn't hard to make good choices. And after lunch my SO and I went on a one hour hike up and around Carter mountain which was good exercise.
snack: iced espresso with 2% milk and 1 sugar packet - yes, I got my coffee in.
dinner: (what I'm planning) a tortilla with canned fat free refried beans, cheese, and steamed veggies. Maybe one glass of wine.
Not sure of my weight b/c I am at my SO's house for the holiday weekend and forgot my scale. But feeling good about the weekend - raced on Saturday, danced yesterday, and hiked today, and felt good about my food choices, so hoping for good scale news when I weigh tomorrow.

Hi Everyone! Tomorrow is back to work.
I could tell that my energy level was better yesterday and today than it had been since this allergic reaction thing started. Hopefully I will continue to improve.
Gettinfit Great job on the 2 pounds!
Love Great job on the pound!
Sarah You are so consistent with your exercising. Great job!
Blueridge I'm glad you got your coffee, after all. I love my coffee.
Abidabbi Please come here and vent first. We all have our days and it's better to get it off our chest here than to do something we will regret.
Nicole I haven't really plateaued, yet. I hope I didn't just jinx myself. My only blip, I would say, is what has happened to me in the last week. I had an allergic reaction to something. I had some pretty bad swelling and I gained close to 3 pounds within a couple days. It's in the process of coming back off, hopefully. I have been 100% on plan and have continued to workout. I don't really consider that a plateau since it's a medical issue. I try to get enough protein and stay away from heavy sugar and starchy carbs. That's pretty much my food plan. Also, I think my calories are a couple hundred more than I list. I do not add my coffee w/cream and sugar calories into the equation.
Total Approx 1435 Calories
Breakfast (365 Calories + coffee)
spritz olive oil in pan
egg 70 cal
egg whites from carton 60 cal
Handful of spinach
2% Reduced Fat Cheese 40 cal
high fiber English muffin 100 cal
1 teaspoon jam 20 calories
coffee w/sugar and cream
juice 75 calories
Lunch (180 calories)
Vanilla/Honey Greek Yogurt 130 Calories
Venti Iced Coffee w/sweet 'n low and splash cream 50 calories
Dinner (890 calories)
Cranberry walnut mix 280 calories
Turkey Wrap 360 calories
Fresh Fruit w/Dip 250 calories

I'm glad you're feeling better Diana, you might have a pleasant surprise when you weigh and you will have lost the water/swelling weight AND the weight you lose by being OP...fingers crossed
Love
Nicole - your menu sounds scrummy
Have been doing ok myself, didn't go to the gym yesterday but had as follows...
B - toast x 2 (200)
L - scampi +10 or so chips (500 to be safe)
D - Strawberry yoghurt + 2x wheetabix (300) and a ham and cheese sandwhich (300)
Total - 1300 so ok.
Will be going to the gym this evening and hopefully walking home from work too...
Todays planned food
B - toast and a little honey (250)
L - cheese sandwich (300) and a fruit salad (50)
D - something lighter than yesterday, maybe soup and some yoghurt or soup and toast...would like to be around 1100 so will keep to about 500 for dinner...
Hope everyone has a good Tuesday x x x
