Im hungry all the time...

this is my 2nd day on ww and i cannot get over the hunger pangs, im allotted 24 points, and i know a lot of it has to do with fiber, the thing is i cant go shopping till the end of the week so im eating lots of veggies and small portions to make sure i don't go over my points.
this is very frustrating. im not going to give up, i just wish i had some high fiber bread and maybe some crock-pot beans or something, anything to make me feel content at this point. :( i know i have the extra 35 points as well and i will using them, im just feeling like man their either off on my points, or my eating has been a lot worse then what i was thinking

It's not just fiber, it's protein, too. So, make sure you're getting enough protein. I was never getting enough before I started WW, so I'm grateful that I'm learning how to stay satisfied....and that's another thing. You have to let go of feeling "full" and be happy with feeling "satisfied". It DOES get easier! Hang in there!

The first couple of days are the hardest, but it does get easier - I promise, you do get used to eating less if you stick it out for a week or two.

You are doing the right thing. Continue to make sure your meals are balanced with protein and fiber and even a little bit of fat to help you feel satiated longer. Keep eating lots of fruits veggies for crunch and bulk - that helps with satiety too. And drink lots of water.

Hang in there - it gets easier, and it's worth it.

yeah, the first week or so is hard. it could be cravings too... it sounds like you are craving carbs. your stomach will shrink and get used to less food. Having some tea usually helps fill me up and stops the rumbles, and there's so many yummy flavors they can help with cravings too.

@hickory0305 i wasn't even thinking about the protein thanks! it wasn't so much as being full as it is "being content" ill eat then be content for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes then the tummy is rumbling, but i know its because im not getting in the fiber and protein that i need. ill take care of that problem when i go shopping. thanks for the encouragement! =)

@ carter thanks for the promise and encouragement!!

@ringmaster thank you as well. as far as the cravings go.im really not craving anything right now. i ate i big salad earlier and it was the best tasting salad i ever had in my life i felt so hungry, normally i would not like the salad that much and want something heavy and maybe greasy i guess it is true what they say about when you are hungry that is when food taste the best because apparently that is when we are suppose to be eating it! lol
