If you can handle magnesium...This will cure you within a few hours. Dissolve 3-4 teaspoons of Epsom Salts, (magnesium sulfate) in a cup of warm water. (Directions are on the package). Slam it quick because it tastes HORRIBLE. Then suck on a mint or something to get the horrid taste out of your mouth. In a few hours we'll all be chanting, "There she blows" LOL ;)
(Seriously, it works great, quick, no cramping and is what my doctor recommended back when I used to have a problem). But like someone else said, it could be possible you have some type of bowel obstruction so please call your doctor first thing in the morning. |
... PRUNES.
pretend to be either a baby or an old person.. PRUNES :D or strawberries... |
Usually a couple of nice big, warm cups of tea will do it for me but also I find that walking (brisk walking for a couple of miles) will often get things moving again. I normally only go a couple of times a week and that's what's normal for me, but six days is quite a long time. Hope you are feeling better soon!

I know this is way too late but I take everyday all natural psyllium husks (in capsules) with lots of water! you can get them at any pharmacy, health food, or many supermarkets, together with online shops and ebay. they are 100% natural and do not harm your bowels like laxatives and stool softeners do. I had surgery that prevents me from "straining" ever again in my life and my doctor recommended me to take these everyday. I have NEVER had a problem since, I go everyday and feel so much better!

Eat a Fiber One bar. Those things keep me regular. Beware, you may have bad gas after eating them so don't be around loved ones after you've eaten one. :)
