Today's been a very rough day with my baby's colic, but here's my accountability post that I will NOT order in Greek food tonight. I'm not usually an emotional eater but today's exhaustion (around 6 hours of screeching, along with the usual stares in public when I have to walk my dog - "what's wrong with her? What a bad mom"), leaves me feeling the need to consume a giant Greek dinner which is most certainly not on plan.
I'll be hanging around 3FC tonight!
Hey, congratulations! We did not order pizza tonight.
good job. I was on vacation, and I did have a fast food meal for our last meal together, but i am so exhausted, i can't even think of cooking. I am sorry your lo is colicky. my lo had colic for a very-thank-you-God short period of time. the best thing to do for him was the hold where he laid on the length of my forearm and my hand put pressure on his groin. He finallly stopped screaming when i did that. I pray for a more peaceful night for you.
Good for both of you!
We had grilled chicken & lots of fresh veggies from the garden. It's seriously calling my name at the moment so I'm with you! I will not eat seconds tonight I already had plenty to eat! This is something I've never dealt with before, healthy food calling my name!
Oh.. Sorry you are having a rough time today! Hopefully you will get through it and not be tempted to order that Greek food.

Well, I gave in. Sort of.
DH ordered- lamb roast, rice, potatoes, sauteed veggie, caesar salad, pita bread, beer!
I ordered- A cup (!) of lemon chicken soup. Could not have been more than 500 calories (maybe even 250?) and a diet pepsi.
Pfhew! And.... *I did not eat a bite of his food!*
So, I lied. I went because DH really, really wanted it (ordered takeout). He is a large guy (I mean muscle large, not fat at all) and likes to eat a lot. I need to accomodate him as well, seeing as though he has been 100% supportive of my 2 weeks away from restaurant food. But I set boundaries and stuck to it. So it was a success.
