Took a break, now I'm back in action.

  • So I stuck with it from June 8th to July 16th and lost 10lbs. (Long story short, I thought it was 15 but it was 10, and I just haven't changed my siggy yet). So from june 17th to August 4th, I did nothing. No exercising, no calorie counting- nothing. And I maintained. I can't believe it. I didn't gain anything back. So I'm still at 175. So today I decided to start up again with my regular exercise routine.

    I have a wedding to go to in October, and I'd like to lose 25-30lbs before then.

    If I can average 7-10lbs in a month, do you guys think I can get to my goal before October?
  • I think you'll definitely have to stick with the plan but it should be no problem to do. If you lose at a steady 1-2 lbs a week you should be there in no time. You have 2 months right? Go for it. And even if you don't hit goal you'll still weigh less than now and be closer to whatever your fitness goal is.
  • I bet you get really close if you don't quite make it. That is an awesome goal. And how wonderful that you didn't back slide at all in the last month and a half! Go for it! You can do it.
  • I'm on the same boat as you, I lost 15 and took a long break and retained. But I still have a longggg way to go.
