Just saw myself in some pictures from yesterday and it's definitely time to get serious.
I am going to stay optimistic, and August is going to be a great month. C'mon 10lbs, it's time to leave my body.
I'll start tracking tomorrow. Let's have a successful month everyone!

Hi Tamifc
Alright looks like I'm the first to post my horrible eats today . I ate continuously and it shows ... not worried about the number in the morning TTOM is here and I believe that has been my issue the last two days. Snack (229)
1/4 cup oatmeal w/ cinnamon & no sugar maple, rice cake, 4 forks of pasta, 1 hm choc chip cookie
Lunch (465)
1/2 cottage cheese w/ peaches, veg soup w/1/2c V8, oyster crackers, cheese/pretzel snack pk, 100 cal klondike bar
Snack (530)
baked lays, 2oz ham on 1 slice honey wheat, 2 svg oyster crackers, shelled sun flower seeds
Dinner (365)
salad w/lettuce, beets, bacon bits, shred taco cheese, 1000 island, strawberry sherbet
Total calories 1879
Whew boy did I eat. I'm not stuffed and I feel fine. But I won't do this again tomorrow

I would love to get in on this. I have been calorie counting (more or less) for the last couple of weeks and have lost almost 4pounds. But...today I made this great pasta dish (my house smelled like Olive Garden)and it sort of did something to me. I just ate and ate. I think the scale will show it tomorrow.
But...tomorrow is a chance to move more/eat better. No worries
Hope everyone has a great August....end of summer...great time to get our programs into gear so they will be habits, you know?

I'm way in.
I just got serious again about a week ago (although I'd been maintaining by 12-15 lb lost for a couple months). I've already lost 6 pounds! Woot!
I weigh myself everyday. If I don't, I gain.
Today I had seafood sausage and a slice of Havarti cheese for breakfast/lunch (I don't wake up early enough to eat 3 meals a day...), a snack of two green apples, and a big plate of pasta for dinner (with shrimp, seafood sausage, and tomatoes).
I felt pretty good about my food intake, coming in just under 1400. Not so good on the vegetarian front. I haven't been eating meat for the past couple months, but I didn't want to put my mom out (just got back home from university today).
I did an exercise DVD as well. HipHop Abs. It was pretty ridiculous, but I felt the burn.
I think I'll be sticking to pilates.
Goal for this month - 10 lbs.
