I didn't tell anyone about it when I started. Probably because I didn't really know what my end result would be. I just started making small changes. After about a month or two, I let DH know and he told me that he could tell already. He has always been super supportive of me in all ways. I guess I'm kind of private. I felt super uncomfortable discussing my weight loss journey but there was no way that I could keep it to myself when I was about 40 lbs down. People started with their questions, comments, criticisms, etc at that point. Probably because I had to buy clothes that actually fit about that time.

I do get tired of discussing it, but understand that people want to know how I did it--and they often don't believe me or don't like my answer of "eating better and exercising more". SIL just last week accused me of "taking a pill" and my dr was unable to believe me when I told him I had lost the weight without surgery--WTF?? Princess, my mom was doing the same thing to me last summer, when we vacationed together. I had to set her straight about talking to strangers about it--they did not care about or know me?! Why bring it up?

I am sure after a certain amount of weight loss someone is going to notice.

I still haven't said anything to anyone, no need to

Thanks for the replies everyone
