Well - I'm checking in for the first time since I posted this. Thank you all for the responses.

For the record - I did still step on the scale every morning this week, but when I say I'm "skipping weigh in this week" I mean, I'm not going to let the 3lbs up that has been there this week get to me as a setback. I fully realize that I'm bloated and uncomfortable from PMS.

I know I'm only in week 2 of recommitting myself to weight loss and I'm not giving up and I'm not going to let this get me down.

So, Friday night I made a nice salad for hubby and I for dinner and for dessert, fresh fruit and homemade frozen yogurt. (instead of eating out like we usually do). Today (Saturday) I stepped on the scale and I'm still at 150lbs. I've been fluctuating between 149 and 150 all week. TOM finally started, so hopefully the water weight will work its way off. I had a banana and toast for breakfast. But this afternoon I've felt rather nauseous. I had some tortilla chips (5 of them) hoping to settle my stomach. Then I made an almond butter and fluff sandwich, but only ate half of it before not being hungry any more. Now, that's a first! Usually even though I'm full, I'll finish my plate. But I didn't.

I skipped my workout this morning because of not feeling well. I started helping hubby outside, but its 94 in the shade, and humid and that heat with me being nauseous did not get on well, and I was lightheaded and dizzy, so I'm hanging out in the airconditioning and cleaning the house instead. I'm trying to stay active but not too active I make myself sick.

Tonight, I think I'll make eggplant lasagna. (using eggplant instead of pasta). I'm trying to eat in this weekend and eat healthy.

I know I'm rambling right now, just looking to remained focused while not feeling well enough to exercise. The last couple weekends have been "OK" food wise - compared to before I started this. But mostly because hubby is busy working on a project outside that is consuming his time, so we aren't just hanging inside the house and me watching my munch on snacks and giving into those temptations. Also, last weekend we only ate out one night. This weekend, maybe not at all.

Sunday we are supposed to go diving. A day on the boat may do me good. Diving is one of those exercises that when you use a calorie calculator it is usually high, but I never feel like it, its so relaxing. But I'm always famished after a dive. Something about breathing that air gives you the munchies.

So, despite not feeling well, and dealing with TOM issues, I'm trying to remain focused by not letting the scale get me down. I know I've lost weight the past 2 weeks, and I know I'm making progress because I see the changes. I'm just trying to maintain a healthy mindset and stay focused.
