I fit into a size 24 today :) And something to make you chuckle
I needed a new pair of white jeans and I was in the store with my mom. I tried them on, and DAN DA DANNN! *fanfare* THEY FIT! I was so excited Plus they were on sale. And for chuckle purposes, I have my physical tomorrow. 20+ lbs lighter than last year, my doctor is going to pop a blood vessel when she sees me

They weren't like fitting PERFECTLY, but like 7 more and they'll be perfect. But I was able to get in, close them, and breathe, so it's all good

No, no, don't get me wrong, I'm very excited for you and you should be very proud! But I'm thinking that maybe you mean a 2-4, not a 24? There's no possible way that you're wearing a 24.

Um... yeah. You must mean a 2-4 because there is no way at even your heighest weight you are a 24.
I love a good pair of white pants--congrats!!!!

I think we could fit about two of you in an American 24 (not that I'm not thrilled to fit in to these old shorts, mind you but I can only dream of European 24's....)

Yes, I have seen some womens jeans in a store that were sized by the waist size, like men's jeans. I think that since I am a size 10 misses, it corresponds to a 30 in that sizing. So a 24 would be likely a 4 misses or 3/4 juniors, I'm thinking. Is that about right, Elana?
