Boost diabetic?

Hey there everyone :)

In the past when I was successfully losing weight, it was because I would eat fruit at my desk in between calls to keep me satisfied throughout the day (I would have a low calorie lunch as well).

Now due to a issue with mice in the call centre I work in, food is banned at our desks. I'm having trouble not being tempted to splurge since I'm hungry all the time now. We are allowed anything we can drink though.

I saw it on sale, so I bought a case as a possible solution to where I could slowly drink it through the day, it's only 190 calories for the diabetic version. (I'm not diabetic, but it was the only kind they had and I like the lower calories) A plus is it is also gluten free!

I was wondering if anyone else here drinks or has used boost before? How did you use it and how it worked for you?

Hmm, I'm guessing no one has heard of or tried it.

Oh well, if it comes up again in the future, I'll let you all know how it worked for me :)

It might be a Canadian thing. In hospital, I've seen it if patients bring it in to supplement a poor oral intake. Not diabetics, just folks with a poor appetite. Since we don't actually give it to anybody, I don't know much about it. Sorry ...

What would make it diabetic would be a low carb count. Low cal is nice but low carb is the most important thing for diabetic folks.

It does have quite a few carbs, I'm not diabetic personally but I liked that there was no sugar, dairy, or gluten.

I use it as a way to stay full and get some energy so I can make it to the gym after work.

Persona experience, it makes a great throughout the day snack for me, or just before gym light snack (only half though because it is filling)
