Everything that can go wrong is

  • Ugh, I seriously need to vent. Since I decided to lose weight, it seems like there's always something to slow it down.

First it was having to take Plan B (which made my weight go up). Then I injured my knee whatchamadoodle, which made it impossible to walk and run (which made my weight go up). Now I have TWO wisdom teeth giving me problems. One is growing in the wrong way and hitting a nerve. The other is impacted and caused an infection. Both have to be removed. So I'm in major pain, I can barely eat and I'm on heavy-duty painkillers and antibiotics (and of course one of the possible side-effects of the antibiotic is weight gain). It has to get better, right? I feel like everything is working against me, trying to prevent me from losing weight.
  • Hang in there! You will back to your normal losing weight self in no time, just don't give up!
  • Times I can't work out I try to compensate by being careful with my food choices. If you can't workout maybe try to cut back a little bit if you normally work out a lot.
  • Thanks! I'm definitely going to stay on plan. Just frustrated. Hopefully I'll wake up feeling a little better.
  • I'm glad you're feeling a little better. It sounds like you are doing a good job of coping with things!

I hear you - I had to start healthy eating for medical reasons, then my eldest child was referred to an occupational therapist, then she got measles & the youngest got a throat infection + then measles on top of that as you can imagine my eating plan took a dive!!! Back to the drawing board!
  • I'm sorry you and your family are having a hard time, Ms JanVan. I hope things start to look up for you soon.
