Holiday candy is always an automatic "no" for me as well, for the last 2 years now. I don't miss it in the least. And Easter candy I miss least of all...jelly beans, Peeps, marshmallow crap, waxy chocolate bunnies...ugh. So low-quality. So not worth the sugar coma that follows.

My indulgence today will be one piece of the cheesecake that I made--which is sweetened half with sugar and half with Splenda. It will be delicious with some fresh strawberries.

And I am staying within my calorie limit for the day...just like I have been, and will be.

Wanted to update you. I did it. I didn't eat any Easter candy or overeat this weekend. Also, I exercised a lot and my calves are so sore. I took a peek at the scale (my weigh in is on Fridays) and my weight is down a bit from Friday.

Whoo, I made it. But I can't think about that anymore. It's Monday and everything starts anew.
