3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community - Easter Dress Shopping ~ NSV!

So today we went to the mall to get Easter dresses for my girls. We were passing by Torrid and I just happened to see some gorgeous dresses that were so my style in the display. So we stopped in. I was so incredibly sure that when I tried the dress on I would hate it (as that's what usually happens when I try on clothes) and since I haven't been doing so hot in the diet and exercise department lately I figured the size I picked up probably wouldn't even fit me right. So I took the size 20 dress back to the dressing room, stepped into it and zipped it up and held my breath as I turned to look in the mirror... and... it was gorgeous! I looked amazing! Usually I just try stuff on in the dressing room and then take it off before anyone can see me, but this time I threw open the door of the dressing room and strutted my stuff in front of the 3 way mirror! lol And then I almost cried when my 2 year old looked up at me and said "Mommy, you pretty." I just felt so good, and I never feel good when it comes to my looks, so this was a big deal to me. I guess it was obvious how good I felt too, cuz hubby didn't even ask how much the dress cost, just took it to the counter and paid for it. :) I haven't worn a dress since I got married in 2002, and now I can't wait for Easter so I can show off my new dress! I'm thinking this is a big mental step in the right direction...
