These are what we are focusing on :

Wednesday - Water Check. How much are you drinking?

Thursday - Portion Check. Eyeballing or measuring or neither? Time to get reaquainted with proper portion sizes.

Friday - Feeling Day. Why are you doing this? What do you really want? How are you going to get it? Write it down!

Saturday - Selection Day. Eat food that you would while OP. Make wise choices, get those fruits and veggies in!

Sunday - Set up day! Plan your meals for the week, pack your lunch for work on Monday and be sure to include snacks to avoid a trip to the candy machine or the coffee shop!

Punkin I wax my own eyebrows lately I use Nads Fortunately ( according to my friends) my arch looks great and it isnt something I have to do all the time (which is good I hate having that goop on my eyebrows ..I TRIED to wax all waxable areas but guess i cant take the pain very well I will stick to old fashoin razors for the rest )Too much info sorry As for a hair cut well that is never gonna happen as long as I breathe though a color wouldnt hurt (when I have the patience to sit with smelly stuff in my hair and time to put in 3-4 boxes of it on my hair..)

Good morning ladies...

I am drinking diet soda again. It has been 15 years. But I really like my morning soda pick me up. I am so far tolerating it fine. I use to get the largest hives from the nutrasweet. I don't need to drink the whole can like I do with a regular soda...but it gets me going just fine.

I think a guy from work is trying to get the nerve to ask me out. He is really sweet. I don't know a lot about him. He is head of asset protection. Kinda makes me self conscience knowing there are 3 cameras in my dept and he moniters them all day.

As for me and Chris...well, it is hard to stay modivated to make this work when he has been unemployeed for 4 weeks and he has only turned in 2 applications. (for sh**y jobs at that). I am going to keep my eyes opened at disneyland and see if I like what I see. I will always love him but do I like him? Right now, nope.... Thank goodness my weight is only fluctuating a few pounds on this emotional rollercoaster!

I tried on this very sexy sundress yesterday. I only didn't get it because I don't know if I will ever have a place to wear it at. A dinner out and a comedy show would be the ideal setting. I may go and get it. I need to find something to wear to my dad's wedding next Saturday. I tried on a million things yesterday and nothing was just right. It use to be I was just happy that something slipped over my bust and hips but now I am a bit more particular.

Feelings...I have so many and they change all the time. But I think I know what I want. Just got to be brave enought to go get it. Bravery is not my strong point. Something always makes me doubt myself or makes me think I am not worthy.... But this is going to change. I am in the 2nd 1/3 of my life and I am going to get what I want and I am not going to have to struggle all the time! I have earned some peace. I have been patient and I have earned some major karma points. It is time to reap the rewards of being a good human being! How is that for a pep talk? There is a song out there that says, "its not having what you want, its about wanting what you have" or something like that. my new motto.... ~flower

Sheila, I hope the new place works out! Why do you have to be out by July 1st? Has the landlady changed her mind since her husband died, or are you just sure you don't want to stay there anymore?

Flower, I think you know in your heart where this relationship with Chris stands. When you've been with someone for a long time it is very difficult to make the separation, and may take several tries before you are sure. You are getting to be more independent all the time, and you will know if you've had enough or if it's time to try again. Go get that sundress! Even if you only wear it to the wedding, just having it in your closet will make you feel good!

I'm on my 17th day OP, and although there have been moments, overall I'm doing really well. I think this may be the time it finally works!

Hello all!

Well, I'm back... It was a good/crappy weekend. I didn't get to see my one girlfriend because they put her Dad into UCSF Friday so he could have emergency quadruple bypass surgery today (he's only in his late 40's). I have a really, really bad feeling about this. He's had major problems with infections in the past and out of control diabetes.

My other girlfriend's daughter was surprised to see me. Her Mom said she'd found some lady on the side of the road and picked her up, I walked around the corner and Ash leaped off the couch and jumped up into my arms yelling "Aunt Terri!!!!" Aaaah, nothin' like a little kid's love to make you feel really good.

The birthday party was awsome and I'm so surprised at Ash's reaction to her doll blankets I made her. I explained that they're made from the exact same yarn as her baby blanket I'd made over 11 years ago - which she still sleeps with. I found the yarn and pattern in a bag when I moved (I cried, it was a little piece of my life from 11 years ago that remained completely untouched and unchanged even with all I'd been through). She was very moved by this - never underestimate an 11 year old I guess.

Sheila - Congrats on the 7 pounds!!! That's incredible!!!

Flower - ooooh, I know exactly what you mean when you said you love him, but aren't sure about like... oh, do I ever. As for the potential admirer at work - yea, that would be odd knowing he could be watching you!

Well, off to start the work day. My elliptical is on SALE!!!! I'm going to town today to try it out *without* my Mom. I'm tired of waiting on her (she's out of town for a week) and I want my new toy!!!!! It's $100 off and I'm not going to miss this sale again!

p.s. - I didn't weigh in this morning since I haven't had hardly any water this weekend and feel bloated as a beluga. I'm going to forego the bad/false news and drink up n' weigh in later after I've "flushed" my system (no pun intended, but that is pretty funny!).

Wildfire CONGRATS on day 17!!! The reason why I am moving is the place I want is 500 dollars US a month less then what I am paying here it is in the country (talking farmland big cornfeild in the backyard)
Also because I couldnt pay my rent on time(6-1) due to my antidepressants ran me 150 for only a one half month supple plus I had to get my inhalers filled again (2 different ones came to 200) not including my antianxiety pills 75 for the month. She wouldnt take weekly payments we arent even a month behind yet but she ran the ad on the 21st she is already showing the place I have until the second week of July to be out..I havent had any papers for demand of rent or anything so I just better just move she is using sec dep for June Rent..I know I could do alot of legal things but she has a heart condition so I dont want to cause her emotional /phyiscal distress..

Lets see I had the same dinner for friday and saturday chicken leg quarter with baked potatoes lunch was pancakes on saturday sunday was steak and cheese sub w/ spicy fries
Well I have to get ready she is showing the place anytime now Got to make it pretty I guess.. I been a mental wreck all weekend with all this schitt happeningbut I am gonna be alright..
Went to docs and I have on top of everything another dang UTI .. On Macrobid again which makes me itch so I will be on Benadryll as well.. Wonder should I take acidophillus with this ?? I dont know anymore too busy too think.. Dinner tonight ...da da daaaaaaaaaa Chicken leg quarters on grill baked taters and veggies ( whoopie what a surprise) I am getting feathers I just know it

Sheila, she's evicting you because you're a few weeks late on ONE month's rent? That's absurd! Just for curiosity's sake, you should check the laws with your State Rental Tribunal. Even if the landlord wants you out, they have to give a certain number of days notice. I hope you get this new place so you can get settled again.

Hi Soozie! Welcome to our group! Our numbers are small currently, but we've been around for a few years now. Our group was started by a member named Linds, who was a lesbian and couldn't find a group to fit in with. Like the intro says, anything goes in here....we accept you for who you are, whatever that may be.

I don't believe we have any lesbians actively posting here at the moment, but please don't let that stop you! There may be others who will see your posts and will come out of lurkdom, knowing they have an accepting group to belong to. I'm sure we'll have other things in common.

Me - I'm 32 for a few more months, married (second installment), have a 14 year old (that's her!), I work as a Corporate Accountant, I'm Pagan, have two cats and am adopting a third soon, have a lizard, and eventually I'm gonna lose this weight! I'm doing the 21-Day Challenge with a great group of gals here on the Support Board, and so far it's going really well. I re-joined Weight Watchers a few weeks ago.

Wildfire I already looked into the state laws on renters. And I know she is doing it all half a**ed..One she is supposed to give us a demand for rent ,which she didnt, by the 14th day of being late. Two she could have taken up our offer for the weekly payments which she didnt, also if I REALLY wanted to be a B*TCH I could tell her not to show this place till she abides by the laws of my state.. (which she doesnt know them) But why are we doing things the way we are?? She is very sick heart wise and two we want out so why push the envelope? I have till the second week of July which shouldnt be a problem ( I hope)

Spent most my weekend over my friends boyfriends familys house this weekend my friend was staying there this weekend .They are transformoing the basement into a apartment for the son my friend and her two children (And there soon to be baby) she had the ultrasound she is (they are) having another girl. She is due in Nov ..My DH will be helping with the drywalling and stuff I am just there to chat with my friend and her b/f mom.. When I move out there we are planning a shopping trip..They are a great family glad to see that my friend will have all th support with the family..
Last night had chicken/ baked taters again.. on the grill of course that has been getting quite the workout..I par boil the chicken just to get some of the nasty grease out of it..

Still amazingly tired from my weekend! However, kitties did let me sleep until 3am undisturbed until Maia, my youngest, decided she needed Momma to pet her NOW! Maybe tonight will be uninterrupted?????

Got my elliptical! I even put it together all by myself! It took me a whole freakin' 3 1/2 hours!!!! AND THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH IT!!!! The plastic round part, that covers where the fly wheel is, is overlapping and the inside part that turns rubs up against it. So, instead of quiet bliss, it's a smoooooth, rub, BANG, rub, BANG. I'm calling Sears as soon as I'm done. Other than that *small* issue, I LOVE the feel of this thing!

Sheila - Yea, I'd try acidophilus. Worked for me anyway...

Sheila ~ Did you sign a lease or are you renting month to month? Because lease agreements would hold her to things just like they would you. I just hope it works out the way your wanting it to... it is so hard to get on your feet when stuff like this happens.

WF ~ Grats on being OP... I wish I could get and stay that way but things will have to straighten out soon or my clothes aren't going to fit !!!

Well ~ things are not all that much better, they are getting there but not there yet. I have 3 more weeks of this clinical so hopefully I will manage. I am doing sucky on my tests, can't stay focused in my other class. I just wish I could get this all together and say @)#(*%R#* I have to do good, but all I want to do is eat and sleep. I think with the help of my Mother (which is bazaar, since it is so rare she has insight) have figured out what is wrong. I don't think it is the loss of the pregnancies that I have had...I think it is the finality of knowing that I will not ever have anymore kids at an age where most people are just starting families. I am just getting to a point where I can afford to have kids and would love to have more and know that I can't have them. It is really grounding and really sad, because I have so much to give and my kids are getting too old to appreciate it. Lame huh? Well, this isn't helping and I have prep work to do for school so I have to run.

Well ladies, we're sliding off the bottom of the list of threads so I thought I'd bump us up before we fell off....

I'm nursing my ear also today. While getting my elliptical into the house the box opened and I got smacked in the ear/side of my head with the steel foot bar. I was knealing down to pick up the box while my stepfather pulled (heavy sucker that thing!) and WHAMMO! A 15 pound, 3 foot long bar, smack on the ear.... I think I truely did see stars for a minute! Thank the Gods it missed both my cartilege piercings on my tragus and upper ear or it could've been much, much worse. Instead I'm just bruised.... I knew exercise could be dangerous, but man!
