Confused..Need Help..

Well first let me say is 12:04 at night and I weighed ,myself 30 min ago after exercising..
The results i dont know!!!l0l
I started off last thursday at 272
this thursday the scale said 271 then it said 270,then it said 269, then it jus kept on going back and forth from 269 to 270 like ifi would move slightly it would go to 270..needless too say im a bit confused can anyone tell me if this has happened too them

I would say that you just need to stand up straight and take whatever it says then so the results are the most accurate. I would try and set up a time that you could weigh in the morning after your body is rested and before you have ate anything for the day. My weight is always higher throughout the day and at night too so it might help ya out...lol

Even if it still continues to go back and forth I would just take the average of the 2 and say 269.5. Congrats on the weightloss this week! =)

I was told not to weigh or measure myself immediately after exercising because the results wouldnt be accurate. My nutritionist says :my best impersonation of her nagging voice: "weigh yourself in the morning after you go to the bathroom, that is your true weight."

Hope this helps:hug:

I have an old fashioned dial scale and if I get off and back on it can be different by a pound or two easily. Knowing that, I just weigh three times and take the average.

Our weights do change throughout the day (often lots of water fluctuations) so it's hard to follow sometimes. I weigh more often, but only record my weight once a week, Monday mornings, after the bathroom, underwear only.

I totally agree with VernDern & 170starting. Pick one time of day and never after working out. Our muscles retain water and that'll sometimes show as a gain on the scale. I weigh first thing in the morning, after the bathroom, completely naked. That doesn't mean you won't see daily fluctuations. But at least they won't be a wildly skewed as when you weigh in at all different times of day. I can easily weigh 3-5 lbs more before bed and then wake up without those pounds! I hope this helps.
