I refuse to wear:

*anything decorated with kittens, ducks, ducklings, birds, puppies...god no, people. Those clothes are for CHILDREN.
*midriff shirts. I have struggled all my life with shirts not being long enough for my proportionately long torso, and the idea is ingrained in me. Short = bad!
*peasant clothes. Peasant skirts, peasant blouses. I look stupid.
*Pastel anything. I wear strong jewel tones, or black. My skin is bright and clear and pale. If I wear pastels, I look dead. Dead does not become me.
*Skinny jeans. Revisiting traumas from childhood is NOT how I chose to spend my days, thanks.
*Thongs. They're just wrong. In so many ways.

Gimme gimme gimme:

*Sexy lingerie. I was taught by my mother that you wear pretty underthings because they make you feel pretty. No one needs to know, but YOU know, and that's what matters. I wear what pretty things are available to me now, but I look forward to more varied options!
*tone-on-tone detailing. Black stitching on black fabric, things like that. I just like it.
*Fitted, proper-length shirts. Dude, I'm tall, I want longer shirts!
*Skirts that show off my legs.

I won't wear skinny jeans (my butt is big enough, I don't need to make it look wider), shorts or short skirts. Also no spaghetti strap tops. With my chest, I look like a hooker.

I love to wear bootcut jeans and t-shirts that are slightly fitted. The straight up and down ones just make me look heavier. In the summer, I have one pair of bermuda shorts that I love. Seriously, I think I washed them about 80 times last summer. And flip flops are a must.

I would like to call this what I CAN'T wear as opposed to what I won't wear!

Heels - I've never been able to wear any kind of heel comfortably being so heavy. I purchased a pair of gold kitten heels and I can hardly stand those for a long period of time! So I can't wait until I reach a point where wearing heels is the norm. Super excited for that one.

Tank-tops - Okay, so technically I do own and wear a lot of tank-tops, but not in public. I wanna wear them wherever though.. cause I love tanks.

Dresses - I LOVE dresses! But they aren't for me just yet. My stomach area doesn't appreciate them.

Shorts/Skirts/Capris - Another thing I would like to wear more often! I feel too self-concious still yet for these.

Boots - My huge ankles keep me from wearing boots! When I hit half goal and final goal I am SO getting some boots.

Belts - Yeah, right!

Leggings/Tights - This is something that I've wanted to try ever since it became popular, but it's not a look I can really pull off. So hopefully it will be once I hit goal.

Shirt dresses or really long shirts - Can't pull it off!

Name brand clothes - This is something I do NOT want to admit. I'm so begrudging about Aeropostale and American Eagle. It's not that I LIKE their brand of clothing, it's just that fitting into one of their shirts or a pair of their jeans would make me feel so accomplished. Again, not something I like admitting! But my entire family wears these clothes and I would feel so awesome if I could fit into something from there. I'm a loser, I know.

Never:
Anything with words, kittens, emblems, sports teams, or a designer logo.
Synthetic fabrics.
Very pointed shoes...make my feet look big..
Squared off shoes...Oh my GOD !
Turtle necks...look bad...feel worst.
Sweat pants with elastic on the bottom...total hatred...
Costa (croc) shirts... or any knit shirt with a collar.
Contrasting tops and bottoms...make you look shorter and wider...
White and pastel pants...(Faith based) this will change when I get thinner...
Ugg boots...they call them ugg for a reason...
Gathered skirts...do more to accentuate than alleviate...
Empire waist..just too busty...look wider..
Two piece bathing suits...need I say more ?
Puffed sleeves...well past that age group...

Love:
Shirts that skim the body without being tight .
Little black dresses.
Skinny jeans or leggings with boots on the outside.
Princess line , and shift dresses... simple classic lines...any solid color..
V neck anything.
Black tights.
Thongs...the shoe, not the underwear...
Heels ...men like them...and I like men..
Hats..Men notice them...and I like men.

What I won't (fsvo "won't") wear:

trousers, except pjs and for working out - partially cos I'm deathly old-fashioned, partially cos I'm not convinced they'd look good on me, and partially because I don't have the confidence to show my legs in public like that.

What I will wear:

almost everything else!

I live in long ankle-length skirts and until recently had nothing but baggy tops. A couple of friends have recently helped me into daring to wear things that show off my waist, which I'm quite happy with

I'd like to wear cute knee-length dresses or something

"Deathly old-fashioned." I like that.

I forgot about turtlenecks. I definitely won't wear them. Or anything high-necked. I feel like I'm choking.
