Lookig for Detox Tips

Im starting my two day detox tomorrow as a nice kick start to my new healthy lifestyle. Feel i need to detox after all the stodgy food over the christmas.
though im not looking to go "comando" and be supper serious about it to the point of actually fasting.

Looking for some tips and food ideas that will help me have a nice clense without bein starving :dizzy:

if anyone has and tips or things theyv tried id be sure to take them on board ;)

If you eat healthy, whole foods your body will detox itself just fine. My advice would be to stick with natural foods, lots of fruits and veggies and lean protein and whole grains. Drink plenty of water and let your body take care of itself.

I agree 100%
Fruit, veggies, grains and water..lots of water.
When I detox, (mostly for 5 days to one week) I stay off the meat, salt, dairy and eggs. Though i do drink fat free milk.
I like to eat lots of high fiber cereal like Fiber One along with the fiber from the fruit and veggies.
Try to eat whole foods, nothing processed.
If you eat clean the body will detox itself.

For breakfast I'll have something like a bowl of my fiber cereal with FF milk. or a egg white omelet with chopped veggies in it.
Snacks would be fruit
lunch would be a salad, with corn and black bean salsa. Maybe some brown rice on the side.
Dinner would be something like stir fry veggies with rice (brown) or a vegetarian burger on 100% whole wheat bread. or wheat pasta. (much better tasting nowadays)
I aim for at least 130% daily intake of fiber and four peices (not servings) of fruit. Lots and lots of water. 80-100oz or more.

I agree with everything that has been said. Herbal teas - ginger or mint - are good too. I'm trying to do the no-sugar, no-caffeine, no alcohol, no processed food, lots of fruits/veggies/whole grains, ton of water thing for the next few days, too after all the holiday eating. Just make sure your calories don't get too low and don't let yourself get hungry.

I'm hoping it will be a good way to kickstart weight loss after the holidays.
