Default need some encouragement!

Hey chickies! I know thsi sounds silly, but I'm a little discouraged today. In the last 2 months I've lost 15 pounds. I lost an additional 3 earlier this week, bringing me to 185.5. Today I weighed in at 187!!!! I'm eating healthy, I do spin classes 2-4 times a week, and sleeping great. I think it's just water weight, since I'm supposed to start TOM in a few days, but I just needed some support. DH is sweet and very supportive but doesn't always get it

Keep on doing what you've been doing. As soon as your period gets underway, the pounds will float away. They will!

You're doing great - keep it up and those pounds will soon be gone! And like SusanB said - as soon as it starts any extra will be gone.

I know exactly what you mean. It's so frustrating to watch those numbers go up, no matter what the reason. Just don't let it discourage you to the point where you go off plan because then, those pounds WILL be real. This is definitely water weight! This happens to me every month and then, after the water goes away, I find that I lose even more weight and THAT is awesome!

Hang in there!!!

Just keep moving forward...sometimes it's tough...just keep doing what you are doing...improve on it as you learn and don't worry about a couple of pounds..

could be anything...extra sodium...

you can do this!

Sounds like you are doing the right things!! You are probably right that it's the TOM and it makes the scales sad for us lol I get the same way! Keep up the great work you are doing

TOM is definitely the issue. Ugh, being a woman!

Same things happen to me - so many can impact that number (water retention, sodium, etc) on the scale and my challenge is to not put too much weight (pun intended!) on the number. It's about the long term, and you know you are moving in the right direction. Congrats on your loss! Wow - listen to me...I should really be taking my own advice on this one since I've been griping about the scale being up even though I'm staying on plan!

You are doing AWESOME! Just a suggestion, but if the completely normal and unavoidable water retention of PMS gets you down, I would like to recommend not weighing the week of PMS. Keep a log and the full week prior to your period stay on track and avoid that torture device as much as possible. Once TOM hits you will be greatly rewarded for your perseverance and patients! I promise you!

Wow, I'm impressed! You are doing great!!! Sadly, most of us have to face scale up days once in a while. It could easily be TOM, or it could be a little extra salt in what you ate or an extra-vigorous spinning class. Just keep doing what you are doing and those extra pounds will go away and probably take a few more with them!
