I drink loads of water. And if it doesn't pass I have an apple or a couple of plums. There's nothing I hate more than going to bed hungry.
I've also discovered that I love snacking at night. And being a calorie counter I save a few hundred for night time snacks like a tbsp of peanut butter, popcorn, dreid fruit or fresh fruit. And with winter coming on fast a steaming mug of low fat, dark hot chocolate always goes down well! :) |
I have done a few things.... chew sugar free gum when I want something sweet, Drink 20 oz of water, eat a tablespoon of peanut butter, a slice of cheese or a banana. water, protein, and gum are my fall-back devices ;)

Thanks everyone! These tips are really helpful! I'm writing down all the great low-fat/calorie snack options and yum - I forgot hot chocolate came in low fat. :)
Today I'm trying something new - smaller snacks more freqently... so today I had a yoplait source yogurt (35 calories) mixed with 1/4 cup fiber 1 cereal, an orange (I LOVE that mandarins are in the stores now) and an apple with splenda and cinnamon for my snacks throuhout the day. So far so good! |
