Article that hit home
I don't usually post links but I enjoyed this article.
http://www.stumptuous.com/rant-48-au...ng-to-yourself Enjoyed in a painful ha ha sorta way. "I see my body as a part of me and a source of joy, rather than a burden to bear, and I want to take care of it." |
Thank you so much, Susan for this link

That is a really good blog post, and I'm glad you gave us the link. I should go to that site more often; I forgot how good it is. Thanks, Susan!

Wow, I love that article. Thanks Susan!

Great article - big mental assist for me right now, because I'm very "non-linear". I tend to have several months of dieting followed by several months of maintenance (hasn't been much backsliding this time). Nice to see someone who's been so successful say that this is OK and normal. I'm in maintenance right now, and really feeling down because I'm not progressing, but it's just too hard right now.

Great article!
For me, I rarely lie to myself these days. I know exactly when I'm eating too much and I know exactly when I'm not exercising enough. |
Thanks! Really liked this post and the honesty of it.

Loved this: "enjoys visit from the Cardiac Arrest Fairy".
Heh! |
Very interesting and inspiring. Also funny -
"You are not capitulating to the patriarchy if you take care of yourself." LOL |
That was a good read, I liked this line:
You’re full of **** when you say “I’ll do better next week”. |
