Looking for a link...

  • Someone posted an awesome link a little while ago. It's a link to an E-book, written by the designer of auto CAD. He lost 88 lbs in a yr. and kept it off, and wrote a book about it. This particular link was to a diagram showing all the various substances our body uses throughout the day, and how that translates in weight loss. (Surprisingly, some %60 is water, and only about %16 is solid food.) Anyway, could whoever posted the link the first time repost it for me?
    Thanks!
  • Haha, that was probably me. Feel free to bookmark it, and throw it on every "OMG DID I REALLY GAIN 5LB OVERNIGHT?!??!" post that you see.

I link to the 3rd edition because it's easier to link directly to one page in that one... but if you haven't seen it, there's a 4th edition with nicer formatting as well:

  • This is the first reference that I have seen here about the hacker's diet. When I first decided to lose weight and was researching I read this ebook. It made perfect sense to me and appealed to the geek in me. I deal with data everyday and am comfortable with data. Looking at weight loss as another set of data really helped me. I would recommend anyone reading this.
  • YAY!! Thank you sooo much. You have made my inner geek very happy.
