Reflection

  • I want to look forward and not back so I'm taking up clean eating and calorie counting...the exercise isn't my problem it's the choices of food that I've been eating...my emotions had the best of me these past two weeks but somethings gotta give and I'm going to buckle down and make the healthiest choices possible for myself.

Goal this week is to eat vegetables at every meal and eat 1500 calories per day.
  • Good job! Keep motivated!!
I've found that a really easy way to make sure to eat your veggies and fruits is by drinking them in a smoothie! I buy the Odwalla brand because they're organic and extremely healthy and keep you pretty full for a while with only 200 or so calories per bottle!
  • gotwork--great strategy IMHO--if you will focus on whole foods you will find this is much easier--also, fiber, water and healthy fats...I promise ya--they will help IMMMENSELY!

High five for steppin' to the plate and taking care of you!
  • Those sound like some great DOABLE goals.

Make sure to be creative with those veggies - different cooking methods and different veggies - so they're a pleasure and enjoyable to eat and not some hardship. I eat veggies all day long. I even eat them for snacks. Baby carrots, grape tomatoes, raw string beans. Plain or dipped in salsa. I LOVE cucumber salad and eat that a couple of times a day as well. Roasted green beans with garlic and onions. Roasted broccoli with chilli powder and cumin. Butternut squash with apples and cinnamon. The possibilities are endless.

You CAN do this. You absolutely, positively can. And you will be beyond belief ecstatic when you . Ecstatic and highly rewarded.
