Yay?
 

for the past several years i have had a line of very red, irritated, chafed skin underneath my "gut". its embarrassing, but its from my stomach overhang constantly rubbing, and i could only see it if i pulled my stomach up. well, yesterday i noticed that A) i can now see this line without "pulling" my stomach out of the way, and B) its healing! it wasnt something that caused me major pain or anything, but ive been feeling like my stomach isnt shrinking because the fat there is coming off very slowly. but the fact that i can see it and the fact that its no longer red and irritated shows me that my stomach must have gone down to some degree.

small victories, even VERY small ones like this, dont forget to embrace them.

Wow! I think this is a huge milestone. Your stomach must be really shrinking! It's so important that we notice things like this in our journey because sometimes we don't think we are making much headway when we are really doing wonderfully. As are you.

That's fantastic. It's so hard to lose from the stomach and it's so hard to tell when we do. Yay for milestones, partcularly ones that both show progress and make you feel more comfortable... chafing is no fun.

One thing I've noticed that's a NSV is that my skin is so much clearer :)

OMG that's awesome! When I read your post I ran to the mirror to see my red belly line and I see mine is gone too! What a crazy victory, skinny people wouldn't understand this sort of thing.
