Stop starting over, if you over-eat you keep going- no one is perfect all the time!
I'm good 99% of the time, but this weekend I allowed myself to have half a scoop of dark chocolate ice cream from coldstone- I ENJOYED it immensely. And honestly, I don't tell people at work I'm trying to lose weight, if they notice I tell them I'm working on it. I feel like the more people I tell the worse I do lol. This place doesn't count since we are all in the same boat :) I kept starting over till finally one day I was like no more starting over- I don't have to be perfect, like many have said here it's about progress, NOT perfection :) I did it slowly also, first eliminated certain foods, then stopped buying them, then looked into my diet and saw where I could cut things and change them. I stopped eating out so much and I cook a lot more- now I have been good about adding more fiber to my diet and working out more, and so on :) Keep it up and remember you are human! You won't be perfect all the time! |
Falling off the wagon makes me feel like completely giving up...BUT I know I cant let one day, or one setback ruin everything...like today...I had a scoop of ice cream with my kid and boyfriend...and didnt exercise. But I have NO EXCUSE to not exercise tomorrow...so I guess I will have to double up!!
WE CANNOT GIVE UP!! the first step is to have even started in the first place. HAVE A GOOD MONDAY ALL!!! |
That is definetly true for me too beerab. When I tell people im dieting I tend to do really bad.
