For the first time in a long time, I feel beautiful and thin in an outfit!
 

I bought a beautiful new dress and wide black belt from Banana Republic this weekend to wear to a wedding next weekend. For the first time in as long as I rembember, I feel like I will not feel self-conscious the whole time. I feel slim and trendy without trying too hard. I am so excited.

Also, shopping was moderately fun, since I could fit into Mediums and size 10 (US). I knew I was losing weight, but forgot that my size would go down and was amazed when the 12s and Ls were too big. :D

Gorgeous dress and good for you getting it and feeling fabulous. You reminded me that my last shopping trip was my realization that I had gone down 2 sizes even though the scale isn't reflecting huge numbers.

Thanks, guys! I also bought a pair of jeans in size 30 today. I'm convinced they're too small, but the ladies in Lucky told me that they will stretch out. If they don't, I can bring them back tomorrow. :)

And congrats on the Lucky jeans. I found a pair when I was cleaning out my closet. They belonged to my son when he was slimmer, but that didn't stop Mama from trying them on. I wore them to town yesterday, and now I want my own pair. I didn't know there was actually a Lucky STORE!
