Pms
Okay...I don't know about anyone else, but the week before my period, I crave carbs like nobody's business! Anything from bread/pasta/crackers to chocolate and those fatty cold coffee drinks (mint mocha chip frappaccino's are what come to mind).
How do you girls deal with it? This week I haven't done as horrible as I've done in the past. When I was craving pasta I let myself have some whole wheat pasta with Newman's Own spaghetti sauce. But then I also caved in to the mint mocha chip drink, chips, and lots of other bad things (not all in one day, but I've done bad pretty consistently). It seems no matter what I do, I can't get rid of the cravings and I always tend to cave in. Not only that, but I get extremely tired and have no motivation at all to excercise. I only exercised once this week. Any advice? Are there maybe certain vitamins/supplements I should consider taking? |
i crave sweets, and honestly, i usually give in. to a degree anyway. its usually only one day a month where my hormones are going wacky, so its nbd. i just try to control my portions.

When im pmsing i will make 1 portion of ronzoni wg pasta with some fresh romano, parmasean, and asiago cheese mixed in and some garlic. If i need a sweet treat afterwards a fudgesicle usually will do the trick. They are usually only 40 cals and take care of that chocolate craving

i super crave bread! i want to eat the whole loaf of fresh made bread! I know give in a tiny bit. I will invite my best friend over, i will get a mini loaf and we share it. My friend loves bread and potatoe, they are her favorite, so i let her have at it, and take a few pieces with nothing left over!

i give in to a degree, but i try not to full on pig out. Actually that's right where i'm at now. All I want are chocolate chip cookies and pizza. It's pretty awful. >.< Just try to be strong!
