Argh! My doctor rescheduled our appointment until tomorrow. I am feeling so much better, but still... I just want answers at this point.

Okay, back from the doctor. Still no results from the culture. They will call me later in the week when they know something. Otherwise, the abscess is about 1/3 the size it was on Friday, and I am not in pain any longer.

I will keep you posted.

Alright, so I finally have an answer. It is indeed a staph infection - and I been prescribed the proper antibiotics. Also, the abscess is almost completely gone, now - so I can sit comfortably.

Hopefully, this will be the end of it.
