I chose the Greek salad @ lunch with dressing on the side today...hubby opted for the fried fish sandwich with fries..I ate one french fry. So, I didnt eat junky buns and almost an order of fries

We stopped @ the store and I picked up a dark chocolate Dove bar and gave 1/2 to him...so I didn't eat 1/2 a Dove bar

I went to a party today where I only had a sliver of the two cakes offered, enjoyed it, and then walked away from the table.

I went to Chili's for dinner and instead of the incredibly high-calorie choices I could have ordered, I opted for the guiltless grilled salmon and steamed broccoli.

I didn't eat the chocolate cake slice (by slice i mean 2 huge wedges) that was calling my name at the store. TOM did dictate that chocolate was needed however so I got apples and a dark chocolate hersheys bar instead

the deep dish apple pie with vanilla ice cream probably would have done me in (my favorite), kudos.

I did not eat even one cool ranch dorito chip from the bag held out to me. wow, those were my absolute favorites at one time, so I've kind of impressed myself with that.

I'm late to this thread, but I hosted a 4th of July BBQ at my house. So *I* controlled what was and was not offered.

So, I didn't eat any crap, other than the whipped heavy cream that I made to go along with the fruit salad and only a dollop. I didn't eat salsa & chips, either, which was one of the only two munchies food that I offered for before dinner (potato chips was the other - yuck!).

I did serve:
grilled chicken on the BBQ
Chili Lime chicken burgers
All beef hot dogs
Lean hamburgers
whole wheat buns
Garden Salad with blueberries & walnuts
Orzo salad with chick peas, red peppers, scallions, mint & feta
Couscous salad
Brown rice/lentils salad with peaches and nonfat yogurt
Brownies (I do not like!)
Cookies (I do not like!)
Fruit salad
Whipped cream

Ta-da! Healthy BBQ!

I didn't eat the Tim Horton's Donuts that someone brought into work last night!

I was so tempted but I kept thinking about why I didn't need them and that I am "serious" about weight loss this time around.

I did indulge in a little bit of popcorn but... baby steps
