Day 1

Well so far so good. Today I did not over eat and I ate healthier food. I drank plenty of water and am about to go work out. I am glad that I found this web site to track my progress and to recieve and try to give support. Today I weighed in at 183, which I was dreading. I hadn't weighed myself in so long so I was terrified. Usally I am in the 170s. I had to face the truth today and I am glad I did. Otherwise I might not be as committed not knowing what I was losing. So I can't wait to start this adventure!

Keep up the good work!

woo! day one is over for me and so far so good here as well.
Got in a good (if not great) workout, stayed under my calorie limit, and am feeling generally rather fabulous. :)
I'm about ten pounds above you, and hating it, so let's both stay motivated and lose it for good.

Oh yes. I am so excited to do this once and for all. I know it's gonna get harder as time goes by but I think I can stay driven this time!

SarahJD 06-16-2009 12:58 AM

Yay! Keep it up! Today was my day 1 as well, so I'm right there with you! If we can get this first day, we can get the next!

Great! It can only get better from here - keep up the good work and positive attitude!

Day 1 is just the start to a whole series of days where things just get better and better.

Actually, I find it's gets easier. Day one, which you've already taken care of, is usually one of the hardest.

Once those good habits are in place it becomes more automatic and natural. Then there's the fact that you will be feeling and looking so much better that you won't want to do anything to jeopardize it. :smug:

Grats on the first day! Did you win the war over the scale terror?? :-) GL with the exercising. Just don't do what I've done. Waaaayyyyy over did it. Forgot how bad of shape I'm in. Now I'm sitting at the comp at work dying because I hurt so much. I can't even close a door right now >.<
Moderation! I need that tattooed on me!

Keep it up and such GL to you!

GREAT!Keep going!:)

munchievictim 06-16-2009 12:00 PM

Woo, weighed in today at 191, which means I lost 3lbs yesterday! (okay okay it's water weight, I know, but it's SO nice to see that scale move)
Day 2 is going great so far, had a slimfast shake for breakfast and then hit the gym after class. Just got home, going to do my planks and crunches and then have a delicious salad for lunch. :)
Kelsey21 and SarahJD--good luck on day 2!

Day two went well!

:welcome2: Great job, you have 2 days under your belt! You'll find a lot of support here. Keep up the good work; you can do this!

Congratulations on starting your journey! I started mine on February 9th at 190 and 5'3". I am now at 134 and moving down. The hardest part is starting. Once you've done that, your good to go! Good luck.....
