What A Difference..Scales

I choose to go by on my non digital doctors (old fashion)scale, which last weekend was 312 from 364..Tom came and splurged on candies and ice cream,,so I know that my scale would be up at 338 this week,

May 14th...at my medical doctor office digital scale reads 391 from 372 from last office visit last month.

I need patience and have decided to weigh in every 3 months(August)..

I'm totally confused! Are you saying that there is a 58 pound difference between your scale and the medical doctor office scale? And you have gained on your scales 26 pounds this week (up to 338 from 312 in one week?)? Just trying to figure this out...

Patience is always a good thing...

Liliann, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a new scale. The one you're using at home is clearly broken.

Remember that you posted about your broken scale yesterday? Does WW takes insurance?

It's a good idea to weigh yourself or get weighed regularly to monitor to your progress and tweak your eating and exercise if necessary. Three months is a pretty long time to go without checking. Would you consider monthly or every two weeks? Do you see your doctor fairly often? You could use his scale as your official scale if you do. :)

Most doctors offices will allow you to stop in a weigh yourself anytime that they are open, as almost any doctor is happy to see their patients taking control of their health and weight! I'm sure that if you are able to get to the doctors once a week or every other week, they would be happy to weigh you and perhaps chart your progress. Good luck to you and hope to see you around the forums!

Thank you..Meg.. I do visit my medical doctor weekly now since my HBP is up. I will see him on June 4th.

On Monday at my mental health day center, I will see a nutritionst, since I could not afford weight watchers.

Way to go! A nutritionist will set you on the right path because they really know what your dietary needs will be.
Let us know how it goes!
