Why did I do that?!

Had a weak moment... Grilled chicken & mashed potatoe for lunch.... DAMN IT! I've been doing this long enough now that I should be able to control my weak moments! It was so good going down, but I'm feeling sh*t now... I wish there was a "go back in time and don't eat that button".... Would like be grand if it did?! There goes the cal count for today.... :(

Well on the bright side grilled chicken is pretty good for you. Do you keep a food journal? I find that that helps.

if it makes you feel better, i had a philly cheesesteak hero. oops. trying to ignore that rapidly approaching food coma.
looks like it's gonna be salad for dinner.

Oh, me...me... I want one of those buttons too. The grilled chicken doesn't sound too bad though. I had Subway, but I really wanted the Burger King everybody else was having.

Yeah, wasn't so much the grilled chicken, although I could tell by the taste, it was marinated in some type of oily-marinade... But the potatoe & little bit of gravy killed it. I'm thinking it's a mute point now, as it promptly came right back up about 20 minutes after I ate it.... That's another question... You guys ever eat things your not supposed too, or things that are really "heavy" and it makes you sick? It happens to me often & I'm wondering what could cause it.... It's mainly things that are thick or "too heavy", you know that gross feeling you get when you eat too much or eat say, steak & potatoe or something.....

I know that feeling - I get sick sometimes when I eat "heavy or fatty" things too, but mine doesn't come back up - unfortunately my stomach start gurgling and it makes a not so grand entrance out the other end. It has happened ever since I had my gall bladder out. The fattier the foods the quicker it goes through me. That sure doesn't sound pleasant for you either - I hope you can figure out what is causing it.

Yes, that happened to me a few weeks ago when I went out for dinner and ordered the chicken, thinking it would be "safe". It was greasy, but I ate most of it anyhow. And felt logey, heavy, bloated and rotten for the next 3 hours. It was the extra grease. I haven't done that again and it hasn't happened again.

Oooh I did that last night.
I was feeling sorry for myself and pigged out on KFC.
Still feeling bloated and rubbish today.

Wouldn't it be ever so cool if we could invent a device that could record those awful sensations, and we could wear it on our wrists like a watch so that if we were tempted by something, we could press a button and relive that yuck feeling? My memory for consequences of bad food choices only seems to last a month or so. :)

Just as everyone else stated Grilled chicken was a good choice and I think the potatoes will do less damage than say double chocolated cake. about 2.5oz of potato has only 54 calories,12.4 carbs,22mgsodium,2d fiber and 5.1g of sugar that is not that bad, now with mashed you have to add int he butter, milk, extra salt and possibly cream used but still not that bad
