Haven thanks for the tip. I'm doing cardio on empty and weight training after a pre-workout balanced meal.
what type of cardio do you usually do? I use a stationary. I have a considerable longer journey than you to my goal too...
congratulations again and thanks for sharing!

my cardio is on the treadmill usually. i put the incline at 8-15 and the speed depends on how pumped i'm feeling that day. i also run around the neighborhood, or walk briskly sometimes. i do cardio from DVDs i have if i cant make it to the gym.
good job on the weight lifting. make sure you lift as heavy as you can. lifting light weights is pretty much useless. there is no such thing as "toning". there is only muscle and fat. and the quickest way to build muscle to lift really heavy and eat enough support their growth. protein is the building blocks of muscle so make sure you get plenty. eat protein or have a protein shake after lifting as well to support muscle growth. the more muscle mass, the more calories you burn, the more fat you lose and you'll look "toned".
stay consistent. i also recommend you do some reading on the relationship between weight loss and insulin. basically eat natural whole foods. limit process stuff. we've all heard that one before, well i finally listened.lol
