Question Looking for a diet/food log/journal/diary

Hi there

Looking for a ready made journal or diary that is already set to log food/water/exercise consumption.

I saw one called DietMinder, anyone have experience with this one?

I do not want an online diary.

I have done my own creative diary in the past.

Now I am ready for one that is all set to go, and all I have to do is just write down the info.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

LOL--well, I use a spiral notebook..you could always make one and print it out yourself in a 3-ring binder--old school I know!

Here is one called Flogg Daily. I haven't used it but it's made specifically for logging food/fitness.

I just use a blank journal currently.

If you go onto amazon.com, you can browse inside Diet Minder to see if it's what you want.

I've not used the Diet Minder, but I've used MemoryMinder symptom log by the same company.

I tend to think most ready-made logs are more expensive than they're worth. Finding one that fits my exact needs is harder than developing the pages myself. I usually use Microsoft Spreadsheet to create my log pages, and then just print them off and put them in my Day Planner as needed. When my needs change, I can change the log pages, so I only print up about a month's worth at a time.

Hey, thanks for the information. I do not want to journal online, was looking for an old fashioned paper/pen approach. Have been creating mine from scratch for the last two years and wanted to try something new!

I think amazon.com is one of the best places for looking for ready-made journals, and books in general, because of their "search inside" feature. Not all books offer that feature, but Diet Minder does.

A while back, I browsed amazon with a simple search for diet journal and many of the books it spit back had the search inside feature. None fit my needs exactly (because I'm following an exchange plan, I made my own page with boxes for each exchange to check off, and an area for writing the foods down), but I did get a lot of inspiration.

Hi there!
Google "food journal templates" -- there are lots that are for free and you can download and print off and then fill in with pen!
Good luck!

Most of the ready made ones accompany a particular book (like Jillian has a diary that goes with her book). I haven't really seen a generic-ish one that you can adapt.
