I went to a trainer and this is what she suggested for me:

3 Sets 10 - 12 Reps
(Choose 5)
Push-Ups OR Dumbbell Press on ball (5 or 8 lbs) (over head)
Dumbbell Rows (8 lbs) (bent over)
Shoulder Press
Dumbbell Kickbacks (on bench) OR 1 Arm Dumbbell Extension (hold arm/keep close to ear)
Bicep Curls (standing) OR Bicep Curls on ball

Thanks...none of that pertains to me so maybe I will think about trying it. I know my brother has it, maybe he can copy it for me.

Girl, you have great arms. With a little free-weight work, you will have stupendous arms. There are things that you can do at home if you find you don't have the time to go to the gym, or find it too boring. Resistence bands are great...a 10 lb sack of flour in a shopping bag makes a great weight...push ups on the floor while you watch TV...do 20 push ups on the bathroom countertop while you wait for your bath to fill or shower to get hot...all sorts of things you can do to firm your arms. But hey, I think you look awesome just as you are, and so pretty!

I'll let you know how I feel when I hit my goal. I did hit a mini goal...in the 140s. So far I want to keep going. Gotta get back in my favorite jeans.

Just wanted to share another weightlifting website that I've found really useful (not to mention entertaining). It's a woman-centered site created by a gal who is a personal trainer and has a Ph.D in Women's Studies. Oh, and she used to be fat - I don't know if her before-and-after pics are still up, but they are amazing!
