I have this lovely ailment too and some days it's just horrible (like yesterday!). I've started rolling my foot on a frozen water bottle...hopefully that will help! I do *not* want cortisone shots...I've had them in the balls of my feet before and would rather give birth 10 times over before having those shots again!

You could take cod liver oil that's flavored with lemon :)
