I know a guy at work who used it and was fine. I tried it last year and s**t got weird real quick, not only while dreaming but while awake. Dreaming brought back some of the worst events in my life and while awake I was having trouble distinguishing things that had really happened from things I dreamed about. I even thought I had been in an argument with my boss and it took a few minutes to realize it hadn't happened.

I won't try it again, since I live with only my teenage DD around. I really wish my X had been around when I tried it since he could have seen what was happening before I finally realized I was stepping away from reality.

Be sure the doctor who prescribes it for you knows their stuff about Chantix and you. I've had problems with prescriptions not working properly before and my hometown doc never would have let me take it. The one I got it from was at a clinic I had gone to for a different problem and just tossed the scrip at me when I mentioned quitting.

Losing weight and quitting smoking at the same time...I would say no you're not crazy. Just way dedicated. This is AWESOME! Two health improvements in one. Keep it up. You can do it. :)
