First Mini Goal *Under 300 again!*
 
I was at 321.8 at my first WW mtg. on March 7th. That is the heaviest I've ever been and it has been less than 6 months since I went over 300 lbs. So my first mini goal is to be back under 300lbs. I can't add a Ticker yet; and will probably reach this goal before I can, but I don't really need that to reach my first mini goal.

Hi Fly! Welcome to 3FC! You can do this! You'll be under 300 before you know it. I know it's difficult to be patient with the process, but it's a key part of it. Be patient and enjoy the journey. It's an amazing one! You will find loads of support and encouragement around here! Stick around for the fun!

You can do it!!!

I started in the 320's I am sure, though I wasn't weighing myself. The first time I had the courage to get on the scale some weeks after I began my journey, I was 315, which is what my ticker is. My first mini-goal was to be under 300 and I made it!

You will too, just keep it up, and take it 5-10 lbs at a time. I even changed my ticker to mini-goals to stay motivated because looking at the "140 more lbs to go" at the bottom was discouraging -- so seeing the smaller mini-goal *end* of ticker really helps.

Hi Fly I just went under 300 a few weeks ago after hitting a high weight of 342.

It's feels so good to get under 300, it is like a major milestone.

When you go under 300 you will then KNOW that what you are doing is working and all you have to do is stick with it long enough (and of course maintain after you reach your goal) and you will accomplish your goal.

And might I suggest when you go under 300 go buy yourself a nice non-food gift to celebrate! I did!

I went and bought me a nice new pair of workout sneakers to celebrate!

That sounds like a great idea. I am so excited for the Weight Watchers meetings on Saturday. Even this week when I had a bad day on Monday, I'm still excited because I've worked hard to make up the for the bad by being extra good. Each week gets me closer & all I am worrying about is this week.
