Reasonable?
Hi, All!
I'm doing a "Biggest Loser" competition at my gym that ends with my final fitness assessment on March 26. So that is 17 days away. I have gone from 176# to 158#, so far, or 18lbs lost. I would really like to finish up at 25 lbs lost, or 151. Do you think it's reasonable to think I can lose 7lbs in 17 days? Probably not, right? I'm on a pretty strict eating plan that is resulting in a pretty steady but conservative weight loss. We are also being measured on body fat loss, so I don't want to just go all out on cardio and end up losing muscle, too. Should I just forget about the 25# and stick to my plan that is working? (I think I already know the answer to this question - LOL!) There's no cash prize or anything at the end... :-) |
Rachel - You are doing GREAT and as far as I am concerned are a winner.
Why mess with a good thing? |
You knew before you even asked... "Should I just forget about the 25# and stick to my plan that is working? " Yep... stick with what your doing and don't get hung up on a number. Sounds like you've done fantastic!

LOL... well, it's a 10 week competition and I really like winning. :-)
Thanks for the kudos! My partner and I may come in 3rd place if I keep up my current pace... |
