Sorry I've been gone for so long. I've been on vacation at Disneyworld with the family. I'm not doing to well diet wise. I ate alot of things I could have gone without on this vacation, but now that I'm home I'm back on track. I hope all is well with everyone. Sorry to cut this short but I've got to get going. I'll be back to catch up with everything later. Bye

Hi everyone. Sorry to be AWOL so long. I've been really busy with work & stuff.
I haven't been doing too well on the challenge. Still hoping for 15 pounds off by labor day. I'd like to be between 235-240 by then. I've refocused on my eating & put exercise in the back of my mind. I think this next week I will do better at getting to the gym. How are the rest of you. We've seemed to have lost steam! Have a great weekend. |

I haven't been doing to well on our challenge. I'm not giving up through. I just have to hope for a 15 pound loss instead of a 30 pound loss. I have had a ruff week. My son who is 20 was in an accident early Monday morning. I received a call from the police at 3:30 a.m. My heart dropped. They had a hard time getting him out of the car. He was wedged near a concrete wall. He was not breathing when they took him out of his car. They did CPR on him to get him breathing. I didn't know if he would be alive when I got to the hospital. I was really scared. He was in the ER all day, and then moved to the ICU. He was finely well enough to be moved to the forth floor. I am so grateful he is o.k. :angel: Luckymom1, I would like to welcome you to this site. It was very nice to here from you. You are welcome anytime. Everyone here is very nice. I know it can be hard to get past a certain point sometimes. I found that if I change my eating plan a little bit that, that will jump start my plan. (Sometimes.) If you try that I sure hope it will work for you. I have been told that if we eat the same all the time our bodies get use to that after a while and we slow down. I will say a prayer for you. Let me know how you are doing. o.k. :) Es, hang in there. Congrats for staying on WW. :cp: Mota, I hope your had a great vacation. I love Disney. It's hard to stay on track when your on vacation and having fun. Congratuations on getting back on plan. :cp: jenjen, hang in there. I've changed mine to 15 pounds to. Hey everyone, I'm finally back. Yes, I've been back from Seattle for 2 or so weeks but wow, it sure takes a lot out of you when you travel from time zone to time zone. With Seattle being 2 weeks earlier, I found out the true meaning of Jet Lag. :dizzy:
Since I haven't really read through the posts yet, if there is anyone new here, please let me say Hello :wave: and ask you to pop in and let me 'see' you. I've been so bad about being here the last 3 weeks. You'd think that the author of this thread would at least be consistant.....which brings me to the next thing, the reason for this thread......the 'CHALLENGE'. I've slacked in that area too but have been so OP the last 2 weeks. I will weigh on Monday and let you know how GREAT (I hope) I did. Well, let me close this now and say that I will be back later. I stayed busy cleaning & decluttering at home. Sure makes me feel better. I guess the bedroom is the only one I didn't hit. Just didn't have the energy. I'm down another pound, so I am happy about that. Only 9 more to go to reach my Labor Day goal. I'd love for it to be more than that, but I am trying to be realistic. How are the rest of you doing? Cathy, Thanks for the encouragement. I hope your son is doing well. I can't imagine the scare you had! Zoe, I know what you mean about the jet lag. As soon as you get really used to that time change it's time to go back to your time & you get all messed up again. Congrats for staying OP! I better get dinner fixed. Have a great week! |

Hey Ladies!!! Sorry I've been out and about for so long. School started up two weeks ago and I've been busy. School, work, college and then home. What a life. Oh well I'm enjoying every minute of it for now.
I got into a dance class, very interesting. I've lost four pounds since. The only thing I hate about it is we've got to were semi-tight clothes. They're comfortable when I'm not thinking about them but when I look up and see myself in the mirrors I feel very....bleh? chunky? something like that. But I'm back to loosing weight again. Anyway I'll be back later. I'll try to get back to posting more often. :) |

I'm just getting ready to go visit a friend and see her new home. Greg left this morning for San Diego on a business trip and won't be back until Wednesday.....we've been looking at homes to build and so I guess I'll be looking at some alone this weekend. I don't like to do it alone but hey, I love looking. :) I hope y'all are doing well and sticking to your eating plans. Labor Day is upon us.....is anyone close to their goal?
