Good Sunday Morning!
I didn't get to church today. I slept SO late!! I must have been so exhausted from yesterdays canoe trip. It was a BLAST and we had such a GREAT day. It was a long day too....left the house at 6:15am and didn't get home until 7pm. Just a few bruises on my legs and a pretty bad sun burn. :( Sun block #30 wasn't enough. Anyway, hope you're all having a great Lord's Day. Talk to you's later. Zoe <>< |
Sunday Afternoon
Happy Sabbath everyone--
Hope this finds you all well and enjoying your week-end-- GET OFF THE COMPUTER NOW!!! and spend time with your family. O.K. me too-- nah-- just got back from the veggie market and wifey is washing the stuff-- our kitchen is too small for both of us at the same time ( no matter how big it is!) and it is small. Son is at work, daughter heading back to school with boyfriend driving, step-D with her dad-- It's just me and you gals!! Went to the street fair today, probably the second or third biggest in our area-- they expected 50,000+ we have a couple larger ones-- one 2 weeks ago draws 100,000+ twice a year-- neat stuff-- My wife and I got two pies, blueberry and peach- low cal- quite tasty and reasonable. Also some new sun hats ZOE!! NO SUNBURNS!!! ZOE-- glad you had a good time canoeing--- SUE- I love chinese, we have a great take-out about a mile away called Happy Noodle. GINNY- glad DD's birthday went well, how old? Went to church last night so we could get a early start on the street fair but woke up to a note " dad you have to take me to pick up my car before I go to work this morning" seems the newly 21 year old had too much celebrating going on with his buddy that just got home from Navy boot camp-- thank God for the designated driver!! Much rather go pick up his car than his body!! Well ladies there is a good basketball game on and I need to see who my Lakers will play for the championship in a few weeks! TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOURSELVES, GOD HAS PLANS FOR YOU!!! In Christ, my prayers with all of you- Gary |
Blessing this morning,
This past week has been busy with the end of the year things at school. Today I am going to help with props for the play that they put on at the end of school. I have been so bad and I need to get back on track. I have been thinking about why I keep falling off the wagon and I think it is because I am stressed at work (and home with 15 yr old DD) I am going for another job at a diffrent location same Company it is a longer drive but doing what I like to do. Please keep me in your prayers about this. Sue-Praise God! Keep us posted on your MOM. Zoe-How did it go? Wilma-What a nice weekend. EZ-You raised him right to know he is not able to drive. Great Job! Everyone elese Have a blessed day! Sami |
Hello all, good Monday morning.... well, things are still so busy around here...and now we have 3 little runny noses and my own sinus' are going baserk again! ugh....
BUT... did want to stop in and share God's goodness! I lost another pound last week, and I was MORE than a little surprised at that! I haven't been keeping track of my WW Points very well, and the couple days I did, I know I was a good bit over :( Wonder what the scale would have shown if I had stayed on track a little better??? :?: Hopefull, next week we'll see! I am soooooo close to going under another mile marker... I haven't been in the 140's since... ummm since.... ummmm okay, I don't remember when... but it's been a while!! ;) Patricia 173/150 +/138/105ish final goal |

Hi ya!
I just popped in to say hi! I was at the hospital all day today, poor menu choices there, so I know went over, I did work out this morning though. I figure I not going to worry about it till Friday. I really haven't got a choice if I am going to go to the hospital. So, I get back on track then. My mother is really doing great, She had 7 ytherapy sessions today. She probably will be home by friday. I will try to get a chance to respond individually soon. But thank you all for your prayers, God Bless and have a good day!

Blessing this evening,
Pravada I am sad to read that the baby passed away. The blessing is NO MORE SUFFERING. I will pray for your BIL that he will turn to the LORD and no more domestic Voilence. And I am lifting you up in prayer that you are feeling better. doitforme-Praise God your mother is doing well. Will continue to keep her in my prayers. Lifting all CE in prayer Sami |
Good Morning friends ~
Just a quick note to check in and say hello...... Pravda ~ I'm so sorry about your friends baby. I just happened to see a baby in the obituary's recently and I thought what a sad thing.....my prayers with them. With all the choas you say you've had, at least a good thing, your brothers wedding, was there to make you smile. Glad to see you here again. Sami ~ the canoe trip was great, thanks for asking. We had a blast and other than a few bruises and scratches on my legs, a sun burn was my biggest problem. Gary ~ I had to laugh at your statement about the kitchen being too small for the both of you not matter how big it is. That's what we think too. Our kitchen is huge, with an island in the middle of the room that has the stove, a veggie sink and LOTS of counter space but somehow, there just isn't enough room for the both of us.....haha. How was your basketball game? Patricia ~ you're doing so good, you are an inspiration. How's that baby doing? Hi Ginny, Sue and Wilma (I think that's all, right....:?: ) Hope you're having a great week. In Christ, Zoe <>< |
Zoe,
Do you remember the name of the baby in the paper? My friends baby was Callie Renee. She passed away in Arlington Memorial. Just curious. Pravda |
Pravda: Is that the little Callie that we've been praying for? My prayers are with the family. I am also praying for you for strength to keep going!!
Doitoforme: I'm glad you mother is feeling better. patricia: You're doing awesome! Keep up the good work and take care of yourself!! Sami: I'll keep you in my prayers concerning your job situation. The longer drive might be worth it to do what you like to do. Gary: It sounds like you had a great weekend. You're a very busy man!! Zoe: I'm glad you survived your canoe trip. Aren't sunburns the worst? Drink lots of water!! It's been a few days since I've posted. Things have been going well. I'm drinking my water, eating properly and have been doing the exercises and walking that I'm supposed to do. Hopefully, there will be results soon. It's a lovely day here. We're supposed to get some much needed rain here tonight and tomorrow. DH is tired and needs a break and rain will bring that break for him. Have a wonderful day! |
Yes, the baby that passed away was the Callie we were praying for. Now that I have a few mins to explain.....
She was doing great, growing, eating and learning to breath on her own. On Sunday, MOTHERS DAY....her little lungs collasped and they could not get them to fill up again. The parents had to decide to turn off life support. They really did not have much of a choice, she would never recover. So they let her go. The funeral was on Thrusday following Mothers day. I did not get to go, but my husband did. He said it was really sweet and sad, of course! Anyway, The family is doing pretty well. I wish that things had turned out different. But God is in control! He knows best. Pravda |
Hi!
Gosh, this thread has been so quiet.........guess that everyone is busy, like me! Pravda- so sad about baby Callie (and she was doing so well). Will keep her family and you in prayer- loss of a little one is so sad. Sue- I am so glad that your mom is doing better!!!An answer to prayer. Wilma- keep up the great work!!! The scale will have to go down! Sami-you have been under so much stress recently......take some time for yourself, ok? Hey, Patricia! WTG on losing another pound! Sorry to hear that the kids are not feeling well. Zoe- is your sunburn any better? (ouch!) Gary- how sad about your friend with cancer. 43 is so young. I have been super busy- we had a surprise 16th bday party for Dd (the infamous softball player) on Saturday, which was a huge success (thank you, Lord! I got thru it only with his grace). And I am getting used to the new job. Things will be tough until school lets out- and next fall should be a ton easier. But so far, it is not bad at all........actually I kind of like it! Gotta go and iron a shirt for Dh. Sorry this is so short. Ginny |
