My daughter has had a Wii for almost a year. She gets up at 6am every morning so she has time to play it before school.
Anyway, I've been thinking about getting the Wii Fit for a long time, i just haven't decided if it was worth the money. I mean exercise dvds are only $10-20. What do you ladies think? Is it worth paying $90 for. |
I want a Wii Fit....I am just waiting for the stores to have one again !! Ugh !

I'm way too poor to buy a Wii.
At 18 years old, and as a part-time student, I only work a part-time job. I have horrible hours & of course minimum wage. I'm lucky if I break 10 hours/week, since I work at Blockbuster & there are several more experienced CSR's on call. My GF & I were talking to her mother about all the cool games & programs for the Wii today, & she was saying how neat it would be to have one. We tried to tell her the price was going down on them, but her parents are pretty broke too (as they eat all organic food & survive on one income). But who knows? A Wii might be in the future of our conveniently close-located relatives.. Wouldn't that be nice? Especially considering we get free game rentals as Blockbuster employees. I love film familiarization. |
so day three completed. I wish I could get the treadmill into the room with the wii. Maybe that will happen eventually. Its a pain to dismantle the treadmill tho. I just think it would be easier to run on the treadmill when I'm doing the island runs, instead of running on the spot, or running around the room. I find I prefer the step program, which is odd, I hated step before.....
Unlocking new programs too, so will have more to do. I don't like that I can't program in if I do other exercise, like a 30 minute walk or something. |
Wii kids and weight loss
Hubby and I got the kids a wii for christmas this year. We did not get wii fit but being as out of shape as we are just playing the boxing, bowling, tennis, etc with the kids gets our hearts pumping, not to mention that we laugh so hard that has to be burning some calories too!!!
Anything that is fun with your kids is great. |
Yes I think that the wii fit is a bit like curves. A simple way to get in shape, but far from perfect. But when I joined curves, I went and exercised 4 or 5 times a week, for over a year. Then I joined a gym and didn't do quite as well, but still exercised regularly. Now, since moving to the countryside, I am getting really out of shape. I do pilates and yoga once a week in a nearby town, but I don't want to go every day.
I hope the wii will be my workout buddy. So far so good. Enjoy your games everyone. |
