I've heard somewhere that PMS'ing causes a need for an extra 300 calories per day. your hunger pains are warranted.

Just got through PMS and you know what helped me? Putting sweet chili sauce on everything. I think is was the combo of spicy and sweet that satisfied all sorts of crazy cravings. (It being pretty lo-cal helped too!) ;-)

I'm usually hungry like that related to TOM. But last night I was a little hungry, ate dinner, and THEN was having hunger pains AFTER dinner. Weird.

Typically it is with the asian cuisine. It is more of like a sweet and sour sauce just with red pepper flakes in it. It is not really super spicy as it is more tangy.
