S/C/G: 307/lost 140+ lbs/125

Default augh, so disappointing with the scale....

Augh so disappointing with the scale this morning.

I haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks due to TOM, which ended five days ago.

The great thing about this new walking program I started over a month ago is I'm really seeing the fat melt off and getting muscle in my legs. And man, I sure felt it yesterday hen I did between three to four miles. (I'm also doing great with keeping my calories under check with my eating program of lean poultry, fish, veggies, etc).

I also was able to fit into pants I couldn't fit into several months ago and I was so sure I'd drop quite a bit of weight by today's weigh-in.

Imagine my dismay I only dropped three lbs in 2 weeks. Augh, I was hoping for a bit more. Ah well. It kinda sucks, though. lol.

1 1/2 pounds a week is a good rate. I (and others too) have often found I lose more inches and see more changes when the scale is slow and then sometimes the scale really moves but our clothes seem to fit the same.

I definitely recommend taking measurements. They will usually give you good news when the scale doesn't. Having measurements is also critical for those times you are sure you look exactly the same as you did 20# ago .

That is 3 pounds that you worked very hard for. Be proud of them. Think of all those muscles toning up including your heart muscle. Hooray for you!

In my experience....the scale can be behind in catching up to your weight loss......hopefully the scale will catch up! 3 pounds in 2 weeks is awesome!
