because you don't know what is in , if you are making your own , from lean meat then its ok , but bread is not ok , it has a lot carbs in , high GL carbs , and when you have weight problem that is thing you should not eat , beacuse you already have insulin resistance , so most of carbs ( high GL ) that you eat will go to fat , so I would suggest to make burger from lean meat and eat it with green vegetables , and add some olive oil and apple vinegar ( it can help you with insulin resistance )
so try not to eat burgers , try to make your own
