15 inces is more than a foot Mom!
 

I just had to share something so incredible, it has me literally giddy. :D

Since I began my healthy diet, I have measured my waist every Thursday morning. Actually, I measure lower than my waist, but right at my belly button (gut), which is the largest part of my body. In January my measurement was a whopping 54 inches. Today it was 39! I was so happy I told my husband and sons before they left for school/work. My youngest son said WOW MOM, that's more than a FOOT! LOL...Oh from the mouth of babes! Anyway with 15 inches gone from my gut, I can now do the following:

Bend over and tie my shoes/ pull weeds/ pick veggies etc.
Paint my toe nails
Wear a belt
Notice I have boobs
Don't drip food - can sit closer to the table
Sleep on my stomach
Fit in a booth
Fit on the riding lawn mower without my stomach touching the steering wheel
Drive the car comfortably

I'm sure there are more amazing things that I just haven't discovered yet! Yea!

Thanks everyone. It's just an incredible feeling to be free from so much baggage. I know I still have a long road ahead of me, but there are no words to describe how amazing life is right now, today!
