I give myself small rewards. My one vanity is my nails. I spend hours on them a week keeping them in great shape. Every time I lose 5 pounds I get a new bottle of expensive polish. Might not seem like much to anyone but to me it is great.

I just decided that if I maintain this weekend, I'm going to buy myself one song ($.99) and if i lose I get to pick 3.

For a little longer term reward, there's a cute pair of shoes that are not too expensive (from Target) that I have had my eye on. Maybe for a week of staying on plan!

I like to buy handbags every now and then as a reward. They don't have to be expensive ones...I just love bags! I have 50 pounds left to go before I get to my goal, and am hoping to have that gone by next Spring, when I hope to go on a trip to Europe with my sisters.

one of my friends that has seen me throughout my journey....
is offering me a photoshoot so i might use that when i reach goal....
i too wud like a shopping spree....
am currently building a website and the money i make from that i shall use for clothes....
ones that will actually fit....

When I reached goal, I HAD to buy a new wardrobe because nothing fit anymore!

But, as one of the earlier posters said, an even better reward is how I feel and all of the things I am able to do now that I couldn't do before. Plus the boost in self confidence!

I actually hadn't thought about that at all. I guess for me it will be nice to fit back into my 34" waisted Tommy jeans that have been sitting in a rubbermaid container for the past few years. As soon as I get to my goal weight, DH and I will be ready to TTC our first child. That's what I'm looking forward too! Of course, shopping wouldn't hurt either! ;)

Once I hit my 25 pound mark...I'm buying myself a bicycle :)

My reward has been maintaining my weight loss for 31 years and being healthy as I age.

At the moment, all my money is going into my Italy fund - a trip I'm taking mid-November to meet my boyfriend who I won't have seen in 4 months at that point.

So my rewards at the moment are treating myself to a movie at the theatre if I keep to my limits and my exercise goals for the week.
Also a reward will be fitting back into my jeans! I have two pairs that I'm dying to wear - one will hopefully fit after a 5kg loss - the other I think I'll need to be down at least 14kg to wear - but it's motivation!

same here. I know 200+ pounds isnt 'thin' but it feels amazing to be this tiny in comparision to where I was.

Right now my reward is the new, smaller and far more fashionable clothes!!!
At 25 lbs. I bought a Wii Fit! Love it! Best reward I could give myself!

I have 2 major rewards to look forward to. When I get to 50 lbs...I an going to get my Car detailed. If I'm going to look this good< I need a great looking ride! hehehe!:D

When I loose 100 lbs., I'm getting a Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift. I know that is a lot of money...but with that accomplishment...I think I deserve it!

Yeah, actually, I guess I'm planning that as my ultimate reward, too. But it's more a ... hmm ... a wanting to make the most of the work I've done so far, as much as a reward.

A 40th birthday (toward the end of January) at or in shooting range of goal :D. Kinda sounds more like a goal than a reward, but it feels like a reward to me. A gift of health and happiness to myself.

Exactly!

I treated myself to rewards for every 10 lbs lost. If I recall correctly they were:

10 lbs lost - a really cute pair of sandals from Sundance. They were a little pricey, so they were a "treat"

20 lbs - massage

30 lbs - new clothes

40 lbs - fabulous hair cut/color at a pricey salon

50 lbs - massage
