Starting Over

Well, I find myself back here once again...a year later.

A year ago, I was doing LAWL and lost about 15 pounds on it. My max ever was 224. I was down to 209, and then I moved to NYC to start grad school. LUCKILY, through all the stress of the past year, I didn't gain a ton back. About 3 weeks ago I was at 216 and today the scale said 210...right around where I was hovering a year ago. So here I am again. This website really helped me lose back then.

I'm not following a specific plan this time, which may hurt me, but I never really stick to them anyhow. Plus, I don't have the money to "buy into" a plan. Just common sense, eating right, and exercise this time around, I suppose. My ultimate goal would be 150, but I'd even settle for 175. Just getting under 200 will be a major accomplishment.

I'm 25 and need to get out of the "fat-girl" mentality. It's time to reclaim my self confidence!

Mini-goal: 199

Welcome back!
Maybe you could calorie count and try to stick with what you are allowed to have.. Write down everything you eat.

thus being said I am currently doing south beach diet and in Phase 2 I do not feel like I am "buying into" a plan.

Good luck and you can do it!

I would also recommend calorie counting. It REALLY helps me be accountable about what I'm eating. I no longer eat mindlessly. And it's cheap!
