Looking into Diet Blog

  • Hi there,

    I am new to 3FC's all together. I was wondering if a diet blog is going to help me as well. I have never done a blog before and not sure what I need to know or do. Any advice?

    I think that if I am held more accountable than to just me, I have a better chance of making my goals a reality and keeping it that way. I am open to any and all suggestions. I do not even know how to get started.

    I see people who have those tickers, and wonder how am I able to get one? How long do you need to be a member before you can get one?

    I am a little computer illiterate so please bear with me as I learn to fly here.
  • I blog about my weight loss journey on Livejournal, and I find that it helps sometimes. Lately I have been posting here more than journaling, however, because the people here really understand and the people who read my LJ don't necessarily know where I'm coming from. Though if you use the 3FC blogs, you'll find an audience who understands the process.

    You have to be a member for a month and have 30 posts, I believe, before you can use the tickers. The wait will be over before you know it.

    It's very helpful to me, I have gotten some nice feedback on it as well, which is just icing on the cake (....mmmmmmm.......cake....) as far as support goes.

    When I start to feel things get shaky - I go back and read old posts to see how far I have come, or what I might have posted at other times I struggled.
    You don't even have to make it public, you can just do a private online diary for yourself.
